THIRD AND FOURTH GRADE FAMILY EDUCATION:
The family education program originally scheduled for next Sunday morning, April 22, has been changed to April 29th at 11 AM. On that day, we have scheduled an exciting family learning experience for both third and fourth grade students and their families. It will be conducted by Sarah Kovensky who will lead families through an exploration of Jewish symbols and particularly those contained in the flag of the State of Israel. Families will gain an understanding of Jewish symbols and have an opportunity to create their own individual flags commemorating the Jewish State.
We hope you will be able to attend.

Second Grade Family Education:
We have scheduled a family learning day for you and your children on May 6, 2007, from 11AM to Noon. Your teacher Penny Breslow, has scheduled an exciting experience around the holiday of Shavuot and the giving of the Ten Commandments. If you like, you are also invited to come at 10:30 AM to participate and/or observe your child in Israeli dance class with Maxine Patterson.
Also, from 10:45 to 11AM, prior to the formal family learning experience, we also would like to discuss Shalom School's Midweek Hebrew program with you. This program begins in the third grade and this is the time make decisions and answer any questions you might have.
